Color test came back - the amethyst is lovely held up to the light (top square) and the gold purple is a bit mottled, but I like it?
I also just realized my tack fused hearts should be done and I forgot to look for them on the shelves...

One more color test - this one is gold purple transparent striker on top, and violet striker on the bottom.

And I finally got going on the stringer displacement project!
None of this is glued down, just trying to make sure I had enough stringers cut. So. Many. Stringers.
When it's all glued down it will alternate between the green & clear stringers.
Next time I have to cut stringers, I need to remember to find my wire cutters from my jewelry supplies.
Also, I don't know why it looks SO crooked in this shot, it's really not.

I was thinking about doing open studio tomorrow, but wanted to see what the parking lot was like and the likelihood that I would eat shit on the ice in the dark.
The parking lot is OK but not great and tomorrow we're gonna get some melt which is definitely gonna refreeze as soon as the sun goes down.
I think I'll do Friday afternoon since it's a half day at work, or Saturday during the day.
