Just a hunch, if you enable pagination, does the problem go away?

As for your question, what I'm seeing is along these lines... I was viewing World posts that were federated from Mastodon and other ActivityPub sites and saw an image of a bridge that was for some reason labelled "Pink Petals," with a post body related to a flower that wasn't actually in the picture. Directly below that was an image of a pink flower, which had a title that wasn't in English, but when I did a bit of basic searching found out that it was indeed talking about a bridge, so it seemed as if the "metadata" for the posts was shuffled out of order...but for a minor and inconsistent number of posts. If you reloaded the page they tended to right themselves, but as I mentioned, the newer posts coming in would often exhibit the same problem. I was also a bit delayed in getting back so I could try it out in NodeBB 4.12.0 on my server as well, I'm still seeing the same behaviour on occasion unfortunately!
