I used computer dictation after to scribe my notes but it was me speaking directly to the dictation software, rather than typing, and having synthesised my thoughts. </p><p>You are allowed to ask the practitioner not to use Ai transcription. They may have to pause more but it is your consultation. </p><p>And, I’ve said it before. When you go to any clinical meeting, ponder 3 things before you go in. </p><p>1) what’s on your mind. What do you want to discuss, what’s the most important thing you want to discuss. </p><p>2) what do you want the outcome of the conversation to be? Referral? Treatment? Reassurance and monitoring? </p><p>3) when will you be satisfied?
