His principle that "every cell arises from another cell" revolutionized our understanding of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/disease" rel="tag">#<span>disease</span></a> as a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/cellular" rel="tag">#<span>cellular</span></a> process.
