• Added a new section for "Podcasts and Videos", which include three productions:
  • Dot Social (@dot_social@flipboard.video / @mike@flipboard.social)
  • Decentered (@decentered_podcast@spectra.video / @deadsuperhero@social.wedistribute.org)
  • Fireside Fedi (@show@video.firesidefedi.live / @firesidefedi@social.firesidefedi.live)

They are all on self-hosted Peertube instances, and are pulled in directly into this forum.

• This week, a new logo was uploaded for the site
• NodeBB now supports nicknaming remote categories so the three identically-named "Fediverse" communities are now nicknamed to show their instance origin (PieFed.social, Lemmy.world, and Lemmy.ml) ― thanks @django@social.coop for letting me know

• A new category has appeared! Moderation & Server Administration is up and running for your questions and discussion about all things instance admin related. This category is a bit of a catch-all but I am happy to discuss splitting the category into additional categories given usage.
• fediadmin no longer auto-categorizes to General, it now goes to the Moderation category
• fedimod and fedimods will now auto-categorize to the Moderation category.

• Added auto-categorization rule for user @fedizen@mastodon.social so that all posts stay uncategorized, due to hashtag abuse

• Updated branding icons to reflect new logo in touch/maskable icons (so PWA app installs should have the right logo now)

• Per report @trwnh@mastodon.social about some content missing from mastodon.social, I have disabled anubis temporarily as it may have been inadvertently blocked by it.

• Re-enabled Anubis with a blanket rule that allows requests to /inbox; hopefully that should resolve any issues.

• Added a new subsection for conferences and meetups, with a new category for FOSDEM
  • Any topics tagged #fosdem and #fosdem26 and found by this forum or the FediBuzz relay will be automatically categorized there (and the category will boost those topics)
  • Additional categories for FediMTL (Montreal; @paige@masto.canadiancivil.com) and FediCon (Vancouver; @reiver@mastodon.social) to follow
