Not only delicious, but also very dangerous: grapefruit juice.

I have not tried blood oranges recently, but oranges have less of the problem chemicals in them. Pomelos are related strongly to the grapefruit, so....
@uc shame !
I've also seen something called acerola cherry Also maybe tomato juice, who knew !
It'll be interesting to test a few of these !! -

I eat carrots, mushrooms, almonds, and dates during the day. Then a cooked meal in the evening. I haven't looked yet, but how can a different fruit replace that wonderful grapefruit flavour?
@uc re grapefruit: not one. I'm in the same place

Doing some serious reading to see whether my favourite fruit juice needs to disappear from my daily food list, thanks to several medicines I am forced to take. Also to find new, natural sources for vitamins A and C.
Not happy.
Was not aware of that, but Iโm not a grapefruit fan.

Are there any fruits which aren't dangerous? I made fresh cranberry sauce the other day, and that seems to be a no-no too.

@chessert sadly it's not just grapefruit..

Interesting too to see that grapefruit juice can increase the effects of caffeine threefold....
@uc interesting I did not know that, but I make a point of not drinking coffee after lunchtime and at the moment am drinking half glass of carrot juice in mornings which has some lemon in I think

@uc You might want to look up the official advice about this. For instance, hereโs what the NHS and the Mayo Clinic have to say about warfarin:
