@Heartofcoyote @ProPublica I just looked into this. Apparently, the sign-on bonuses are only for returning agents, but the recruitment ads just said "new recruits." They got bamboozled. The bonus is also in installments and comes with a commitment to five years of service. These guys are probably getting a little tired of the long hours and inconsistent/limited overtime pay. Maybe the chance to be cruel loses its shine when you're really exhausted? Hey, whatever it takes to get these guys to lose steam.

@saruwine Siis akseli on niin kiva tunnistaa koska se on ehdottomasti helpoin: ainao hyppy joka lähtee eteenpäin, kädet ja (yleensä) oikee jalka ottaa takaa vauhtia ja sit mennään. Tulee onnistumisen iloa kun sen oppii näkemään sit jo kaukaa Jos luistelija hyppää silleen normaalisti et kiertää vastapäivään, niin alan olla aika hyvä muissakin. @maddy@thegayagenda.fans I feel like we all have internalized narratives about what being a woman, a man, or a trans person means. Lord knows, I did/do, and it was one of the the things that kept me from transitioning for years. We all need to recognize that these internal narratives come from a highly controlling cis/patriarchal culture, and one of the ways we grow and understand is by challenging our own assumptions. Not only is this not easy, it's not quick, but we all happily hold on to old narratives which feed into self-doubt and worse. It takes time for us to create something new as we let go of the old. There is no shame in growth, girl. We all need to do more of it.
