So I have had a really good, affirming and interesting day! Home from 'Our City' now, really enjoyed getting my nails done. Wore a new pair of dungarees with a Baba Yaga pattern and a pretty black lacy top. Just love chatting as one of the girls. That was *after* I'd joined the anti-Reform/anti-fascist/anti-nationalist counter protest. There were trans flags, progress flags, communist flags, pro Palestine flags, Welsh flags and others, flying together among a very upbeat and open group, facing a dour, tuneless, bedraggled group that soon gave up playing patriotic songs over their tanoy because the antifa crowd had alternative lyrics for all of them and better voices. When the rain started I decided it was time to get my nails done, but not before taking a casual diversion around the field and then through the fascist crowd. An amused whimsy possessed me! I think I enjoyed asserting a convivial and oblivious presence that brought friendly smiles from a number of them before they had time to process the nature of the person they were smiling at
