the bios has an undescriptive option called "Kiosk Mode (Note that this is a special setting)" which limits the battery to 50% which should prevent it from turning into a spicy pillow from being plugged in all of the time

@kemona_halftau nothing is impossible (but it does appear to be rather difficult to do without breaking anything)
I have a phone with a dead battery that's like that, it's held together with glue and I haven't been able to open it with a hairdryer (I don't have a heat gun) and suction cups.
