@thordis The thing about this poll is that if you know Gen X at all, it’s that most of us can’t be *bothered* to do something. It’s literally a defining trait of our generation.

So the (current) 36% that is Gen X probably doesn’t account for the 4 out of every 5 GenXers who actually saw the poll.

Within the last 6 months there was a similar poll, it it was 67 percent boomers. So basically i think you're measuring your own graph, not that of the fediverse. Which makes it all more interesting, not less.

@thordis I am definitely Gen X. Born in 1966. I've seen the format wars: reel to reel tape, vinyl, cassette tape, Laserdisc, VHS and betamax......
My generation ended up buying some albums and movies 3 times because the technology moved on that often!

@thordis I communicate with a lot of boomers/gen Z here in the Netherlands and Flemish Belgians and I'm one of those myself depending which birth years you handle to be a boomer or Gen Z'er.
