That tagelharpa is so soothing, and the galdr and kulning are quite well done. This is the kind of music that makes me feel connected to my roots. My family is not on board tho. They love modernity. They love modernity, I love being in the forest. They love paying to throw axes, I love throwing them in the back yard.

(the area we lived in, axe throwing is a sport, you can pay to go to an axe throwing place like Japanese people do for batting ranges. But a throwing axe is $19-$32, and a log is free, but the place will cost you an arm and a leg, and serves alcohol, which may cost you an arm and a leg in a more literal sense.)

They go to concerts, I sing while I walk. I'm shocked that I'm related to them.

If I get a good price for my part of the land trust, I would like to buy a ship. a Knarr or Langeskippe. Or something similar. Single main-mast, 80 ft or so stem to stern. I can settle for a sloop, but it is far easier to manage a single mast than 2. And the oars option is attractive. (my dad's side sails in the pacific.)
