I didn't have to hard-reset a linux system for ages, but thanks to systemd (and especially the systemd-timedated that got roped in unwantedly after a bookworm->trixie update) I just had to do that.

Oh the centuries worth of productive life time that systemd robbed from its victims on a global scale... Thomas Midgley Jr. would be proud. Gotta love the urge to introduce new complexity in places of high impact. -
