It used to be said that the British are only good at the Olympic events you can do sitting down (rowing, horse-riding, etc...). But it's getting really relaxed now - two gold medals in skeleton, which you actually have to lie down for.

@GeofCox and now completely overturned - UK now have two Olympic gold for sliding down a hill standing on a plank (Snowboard mixed team Cross).

@GeofCox @samloonie It seems weird to me that a nation would participate in events it doesn’t have natively, but I suppose a lot of athletes train outside of their own countries.
