      I am thankful.
This Mastodon community has been ever so kind to us.
You have encouraged, uplifted and inspired for years now.
Giving my embroidery projects value by actually accepting a physical gift from a virtual friend.
It makes me happy everytime I go to the post office because I am sharing something I crafted with someone who is no longer a stranger but a distant friend.
People say that kindness is in short supply but you simply need to know where to look.
I'm not finding goodness in humans by looking at traditional places like churches and civic clubs but in this loosely connected but fiercely wonderful assembly of kind souls.
I appreciate every supportive thought, prayer and good vibe. We are helping each other through the worst of times and it all matters.
The picture is Summer in the driver's seat for today's walk. She really wants to drive. I tell her maybe someday.

You lift up so many people here, you are definitely a bright spot on the Fediverse.

It's lovely that you share your handwork with folks here, both in pictures and via mail.
