@vkc it's not your fault. Its disheartening that even on fedi, speaking out is shamed and they treat band-aids as a solution. But on the other hand, I feel seen and not-crazy when others, especially with a platform are fed up and say "its time we all have this conversion."
Accepting and living under the status quo is antithetical to the purpose of the Fediverse.

@vkc I think these are two sides of the same coin and not ok in both cases. „Be excellent to each other“ works in any direction. Thank you for speaking out on that topic. Your posts help people like me (white male) to learn and avoid mistakes.

@vkc I'm really disappointed in this. I understand that you want to protect yourself and your followers but this is an important conversation to have. I'd like to see if we can figure it out at the protocol and technology level.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Varonica. While addressing systematic issues is an important step in finding a resolution for them. That should not come at the expense that their health and the protection of their audience. I'm glad you have taken measures to address some of the points I've made, though you may have not engaged with them directly.
