Danny Rogers was a 5'5" homeless Black man who shoplifted toothpaste. Three guys from the CVS chased him calling him "N***er." Two had knives. They knocked him into a wall, then down to the pavement. He panicked, sure they had something other than retrieving toothpaste on their mind. He stabbed two of the guys. One died.

Self-defense, right? At least manslaughter?

No. Felony-murder. Life without parole.
