      I just checked Power Compare NZ, and we're still on the best plan possible for us considering we're on solar, and we export to the grid.

      We also use our wood fire autumn, winter, and spring to heat the house.

        I also tried Power Switch, and got the same result.

        Both systems don't take into account our solar set up, and exporting to the grid in their calculations.

          The other thing to take into account is that in winter we actually get okay power generation. We get a lot of frosts and all day sun, and we can generate around 4 kW which is enough to power the house during the day and also slowly top up the battery.

            @craftygardennz the sites won't have the updated power pricing yet I don't think, the actual retailer sites don't all have the updated pricing yet either...
