Imagine having so much money and still try to make more by exploiting the ones who have nothing

I love the story of Vonnegut talking to the author of Catch 22 at a party, and I think of this exchange.
"Heller remarks to Vonnegut that he has something that the billionaire can never have, 'The knowledge that I’ve got enough.'"
That's the thing, these billionaires will never have enough. Not enough mega-yachts, or money, or fame, or success. It'll never be enough. Like drug addicts trying chasing their first high and never getting there again, the ultra rich can never be satisfied. They'll never catch the dragon, and society suffers as a result.

@tofugolem #Davos is like the SF film Zardoz: the billionaires like the eternals are so bored with their lives that they will relish their death by a savage hord. In fact it will be like the greatest tab of ecstasy ever taken. Their pain needs to be greater, they need to experience Gaza, the Congo, Yemen, Somalia and the Sudan first hand! #JustDesert #Zardoz

@tofugolem And we also need to out in place a system so they never come to exist again. That's why I always talk about cooperatives. If every company were a cooperative, with equal democratic votes and equal ownership and equal dividends, you couldn't get billionaires.
