@forestine I suggest going into a dark room and touching a metal part of a lamp. will it solve your problem? no, but it's fun to see the light bulb power up for a split second.

@theynege one time i bought a set of collapsible light stands to document artwork and when i took the huge daylight bulb it came with out of the styrofoam packaging, it zapped and lit up BRIGHT

@forestine i have a metal handrail on my stairs, and i've gotten into the habit of *flicking* the very end of it before i touch it to discharge any static
