Now that rents and housing costs have been falling for the last year, all the news stories are saying that the falling prices are a disaster.
Apparently the news is difficult to please.

Everything is connected. All is consequence.
What's interesting is why government economic models won't recognize this

Lowering rents doesn't lower landlord operating costs, and lowering house value doesn't reduce active mortgage payments, but we also know lowering costs has never led to cheaper consumer prices, just higher stockholder dividends.
