@hacks4pancakes I offer solidarity in the form of "wait, *how* many quantum computing people are in those files?"

God, having that conversation feels like yesterday. I was already feeling one billion years old when I told people not to fall for it and end up a patsy. It’s not some stupid CTF or CVE brag to try to outsmart actual dangerous criminals.

@xgranade @hacks4pancakes It's impossible to tell whether the quantum computing people are actually in the files or passing through the files without first observation and destroying the potential for them to be both simultaneously.

@hacks4pancakes I think infosec has always had some very disturbing facets. There are a lot of wonderful people who are all about "live, let live, let me help" but there are also some amazingly toxic people who either aren't capable of fitting that, who are strictly selfish, or who are full of hate and spite - and some quantity who are detatched enough from social structures to either be gray rocks or go wherever they're led.

@hacks4pancakes But in what context are they mentioned?
As in they one time went to an event hosted by/involving Epstein, or as in they were (allegedly) complicit in his crimes, or something in-between?

Is this the latest dump of files or the older ones?

                              Thanks

In slightly related topic, in the latest dump, there was a report from an informant claiming Epstein had a private hacker who also sold exploits to several governments: https://techcrunch.com/2026/01/30/informant-told-fbi-that-jeffrey-epstein-had-a-personal-hacker/
The name was redacted though and its unclear if the FBI was able to verify the informant's claims
