@mttaggart I read about the people distraught because Anthropic shut off their flirtier robot on Valentine's Day, of all days, and while a lot of people would crack a joke, I think it's so sad that people are being tricked into ersatz human connection by these monsters. An LLM is not your friend. It's not your boyfriend. It's not your wife. I wish I could give all of these people a hug and someone real to just talk to.
AI is absolutely alienating us from each other.
