@tillybridges it’s actually kind of amazing how little those people internalized of so much of our cultural lessons. Like, even Harley Quinn gets out her hammer and starts swinging when she encounters neo-nazis and fascist…and there’s that one time she time traveled and attempted to kill Hitler too…point being: all the cool characters hate fascists.

@tillybridges That's not how right-wing authoritarians think.
More than other people, they start from the conclusion: "I am the good guy".
And most of the time they stop there.
When pushed, they only seek rationalizations.There is actual science on this.
And that's the best of them.
The worst ones, they see power and leap on it.
And are happy with being called evil and cruel, because it makes them feel powerful.
Because power is the only moral. -
