@alice What this poll really taught me is that there are very few cishet women on Mastodon.

@alice
Bi male.Only recently. I found someone who made me believe I was good looking. Its the first time in 41 years. Sadly, I don't do the same for her, but I'm working on it.

I'm going to say that I do. Maybe not as much as before but... there's something that was so incredibly validating and affirming. -

@alice No. And I'm baffled by claims that 'dad bod' is a thing people are attracted to.

@alice I'm a person with boobs and I have the male gaze, so yes.
-
@catmisgivings can I get the tl;dr like hour-long version?

@Energetic_Nova "cishet" is a package deal (for this poll), so the non-cishet "yes" choice aligning most closely with your gender.

@roknrol @alice 1. Dads are hot. Like, when they are doing dad things especially 2. Dads on the earthly plane have bods 3. The classic "dad bod" guy is like, wearing a witty band t-shirt and has a little bit of a beer gut and probably had a gym membership but like 6 mos ago? And I love bands and beer and I have an on-again off-again relationship with the gym so we have so much in common actually
Sigh

@anyia I think you could answer "non-cishet femme; no" in that case, but I'm not koalalified to answer your actual question.

@gairdeachas unrelated to anyone's interest in dad bods, we should get together for drinks again

I don't get to hang out with nearly enough card-carrying homos

@DodoTheDev
Yaaaaaaassss, love hearing this! Learning to like (much less love) your body is hard AF and I'm stoked that you've found someone who made you believe it! -

@alice I'm very hairy, dad bod shaped and have shoulders wider than any and all bus seats, not exactly no, I'm not exactly what people picture when "Enby" is brought up, I've no idea what people imagine but it usually isn't how I look
