@andrewstroehlein i stopped using Twitter when it was not possible anymore to use a third party client. My third party client showed a chronological timeline and there were no posts injected.

I have remarked to my MP that TwitterX is unsuitable, and mentioned federated servers and access.
I suppose it would do no harm if another couple of people did the same.

I posted a lot on Twitter - but never on X. His purchase of the platform was enough for me to leave along with a sizeable number of other mastodon posters

@andrewstroehlein I never did, but I did join to try and get banned by Elmo, I talked a lot of shit but they didn't ban me. So I had to delete my account.

@andrewstroehlein I started using Twitter when it was twttr and you sms'd to post from your phone. I stopped when it wasn't fun anymore (maybe 10 years ago). Incels and edgelords ruined it well before it became a platform that creates 6000+ child porn and non-concentual nudes per hour.

I'm amazed it people still use twitter.
I was a bit of a Musk fan 10 years ago.
I mostly ignored the criticism because it was just haters. I think covid broke the guys brain & when he bought twitter, he totally lost it.
When twitter lost its moderators & people were free to post videos of workers being dismembered in industrial accidents because 'aBsoLuTe FreE SpeeCH' I left.
I've peeled the badges off my Tesla. I won't buy another one even though it's a good car created by some visionaries. -

I expect that even if X was banned in the UK, it's government and politicians would use VPNs to carry on posing there.

@andrewstroehlein I got banned ages ago from Dorsey's twitter, for using rhethorical devices to a "journalist" he used in the article he shared on twitter himself back on him. This was apparently harassment to twitter moderators and I got booted from the platform.
