    “Nothing. Zero,” she added. “Not many countries have zero.”

          Now if only NYT gift articles would actually be gifts that you could read. As long as the NYT demands that you register for an account with them, they won't let anyone read any of it.

              @claralistensprechen5th I don't have an account at the NYT and I was able to read that article just fine.

              Sometimes people post links to NYT articles which show the Gift Article words in the preview image, but which aren't actually gift article links. This one was a true gift article.

                  @claralistensprechen5th You weren't able to read this one without getting prompted to create a login?

                  I do use an ad blocker, but I don't know if that has any effect on how well true gift article links work.

                      @ai6yr Odd! I've never had a problem with true NYT gift links (based on seeing unlocked_article_code in the URL). Lots of posts labeled as though they are gift links actually aren't.

                              @claralistensprechen5th Depending on how the Tracking Token Disrespector "cleaned up" the link, it might have erased the part that makes it a gift link! That seems the likely explanation for why the links work for me (and others) and not for you.

                                  @claralistensprechen5th Sorry about that!

                                  And now I really don't know what it is about our situations that makes the NYT require a login for you and not for me.

                                  I see "Transferring data from browser-intake-datadoghq.com..." at the bottom of your screen capture. I don't know what that's about and if it's at all relevant.
