Taking a slow walk in the neighborhood for errands can really make one think.

Sometimes it might be the right thing to do to pause and carefully examine what you have going on in your life and decide if they are, have become, or should be unobtainable, and to set those aside.
This applies to me because I have been at full speed for years to address many medical issues and conditions whilst my memory is rapidly declining. Does it really add enough value to my life to address some of these medical things, or would quality of life be enhanced by tightening down to what makes sense given the memory loss, and making peace with the decision?
Not shutting down by any means; just being practical.

It's exciting that you're up to walking around!

@stevegis_ssg Thank you! It was by necessity; my kitchen was almost bare and I stopped having caregivers to help shop. But it was awesome to get out and about!

It's so satisfying when decisions translate to action which leads to needed results which leads to satisfaction.
After considerations, I ended up simplifying the health issues being addressed quite a bit. The two major categories eliminated were sleep medicine and psychiatry. Neither felt like they added enough quality of life vs the troubles trying to solve them in my larger picture.
I feel at peace with my decisions, which is a *good thing*.
