Another trial of using gold as underpainting. Based on a blurry photo of a loon I took at Donner Lake more than 10 years ago. I sometimes wish I painted using brushes... I wanted different textures for the background.

@Tamami love the atmosphere you created here - the blue over gold, wow! and with that glow, your loon could very well be a fairy-tale hero
