    Golden Globes night! I don't care who wins, since I haven't seen any of the movies or shows. And I don't recognize the vast majority of the actors.

    But while I'm not the slightest bit into fashion, for some reason I always enjoy seeing what the stars are wearing — and comparing my reactions to those of Tom and Lorenzo (who will start posting tomorrow). And I miss comparing takes with my neighbor (RIP), but I can hear her reactions to some of the low-cut gowns in my mind.

    And it does provide a nice diversion from the horrifying news.

      @jeridansky
      I'm the same with fashion. But I wish there would be more variety for men (or maybe they just don't dare to wear it?). While I don't like some of the outfits of the women, at least they are interesting to look at. Colours, shapes etc. With men it's most likely a black suit and that's it.

        @t_robinart Here's an exception to the boring black suit look!

          He certainly looks great, but it is still just a black suit. Last year at the Emmys there were a few takes on the traditional suit that I liked.
          And there are of course exceptions on other, not that glamorous events. But I think that's what I want. More bravery when it comes to the big moments.

                YES!! Oooohhh, I didn't know those, I had only seen Billy Porter in that black suit-dress from 2017. And I just wanted to find that picture and found this:

                    @t_robinart Sadly, nothing all that memorable at this year's Golden Globes. But I did like the guy in the red jacket.

                      Yes, very bold colour choice. I think there were even more with different coloured suits, but the colours were more toned down. So all in all it was a little dull.
                      Hopefully the Oscars will have more to offer. 😄
