#zfs question: I'm getting ZFS-8000-8A on my ZFS pool.

status: One or more devices has experienced an error resulting in data corruption. Applications may be affected.

When I run "zpool status -v" it lists no files just: "errors: Permanent errors have been detected in the following files:" with no further output. Any ideas? The system seems OK.

@pertho Start a scrub, cancel it (bit of cargo cult there but that's the advice I have seen previously), then start another scrub and let that scrub run to completion. If this is related to deleted files, that should clear the error because (I believe) the error is cleared at the start of a scrub and then repopulated during the scrub or other I/O.
