Social medias got me feeling like this lately

@Furo_Fur@meow.social Now it would very cool if all would choose some federated thing. I assume it will take some time to settle.

@Legion495 Ye I do feel like Federated medias are the most stable of them all but at the same tie they are also on the less pleasant side in terms of UX...

@Furo_Fur It is going to be simple for me: I'll give them 2 weeks to pick their new social media then I'll join whichever is the most successful.

@Furo_Fur I think it's worth to mention you can use/try a few things at once

though in terms of social media I like fedi because I can still access all the reasonable platforms like bsky through bridging and federation. Ideally all social media platforms implement ActivityPub because it's a W3 standard after all, but I can imagine big tech platforms would rather have a walled garden .. and I'd rather stick with the platforms that actually respect me, but that's my personal take on it I guess
