@christineburns Unfortunately throwing Tim Allen out leaves the Cabinet Office *permanent* Director for Government Communications David Dinsmore ruling the whole roost.
Dinsmore was the unpleasant Sun editor during phone hacking, who helped promote Katie Hopkins with her talk of shooting migrants.
Let’s not pretend he wouldn’t welcome Farage in as his boss. -

Looking at this through a trans lens, I don’t think we discuss nearly enough that a lot of the anti-trans animus in the British press comes from the evidence that one of our number had the temerity to give to the Leveson enquiry. So, any history with the right-leaning press in government communications is a red flag.
