It was a nice thing to see after the crappy afternoon we've had.
The MIL has been hiding the fact she's been bleeding from her colon for the last 2.5 years, because she didn't want to bother anyone. Now she needs an emergency colonoscopy that won't get done fast enough in the public system, so now we have to find +$3000 as a family to pay for it for her.

It doesn't help that hubby and I have a $10,000 roofing repair bill this month to pay for.

I don't think the MIL actually didn't want to bother anyone, but more that she was too embarrassed to tell anyone, because of embarassing body reasons

Anyway, they say bad news comes in threes, so I'm on the lookout for anymore bad things coming my way

So anyway, please, if you are having unusual health symptoms from the bottom end of your body, please go and see a doctor to get it checked out. It's not embarrassing, it's just a health issue.
My maternal grandfather, and my dad both had colon cancer in their sixties, and had surgery to fight the cancer. They were both cancer free afterward.

@craftygardennz Oh dear, I hope things turn out well for her.

@craftygardennz or unusual symptoms anywhere else!
Doctors are amazing and are not there to embarrass and it may well save your life if you don't ignore something... the earlier things are looked at the sooner they can be dealt with after all.
