Good for him! We need a lot more principled politicians who are prepared to sweep away the status quo

@HI_Greens Hard to listen to that message and find anything that anyone sensible could disagree with. Meanwhile, in the corrupt UK, everything leans towards the super rich, the far right get a huge platform to spout their messages of hatred year after year and those who can imagine a better future for the people of the Isle of Ireland, for Scotland and Wales are rubbished or ignored.

@IndyRichard @HI_Greens I think an interesting experiment is to go find the same video posted over on x.com and read the replies. Plenty of people disagreeing... but ok. You said "anyone sensible"

@harry_wood @HI_Greens It's hard to deconstruct responses you might see on Twitter to make sense of it and to try and work out how many might be from real folk or bots?

@HI_Greens so people who keep saying both torries and labour are the same, only voting Reform as there is no alternative, will vote for parties on good policy etc etc will now vote in droves for the greens right? When the rubber hit the road and have to cast a real vote, funny how right wing nut job parties with insane politicians & racists, bigoted, socialism only for elites policies have no trouble getting votes where as left wing parties with actual good policies for people get the scraps.

@HI_Greens Love this video (it literally had tears in my eyes within a few seconds), and I really love that the video is hosted on your Mastodon service, rather than YouTub or some other corporate streamer.

@HI_Greens This is such a brilliant advert. This needs to be on TV everywhere.

@IndyRichard @harry_wood @HI_Greens on acursed YouTube it has more views in a day than others had in months and even years. Finally they're delivering the right messages in the right ways. I think this one could be 'viral' as it should be. The green surge is real and as a teen member in the 1980s I'm here for it! In Derbyshire where many have been clueless enough to vote Reform, a Green just won a seat from them 🤯

@media_dept On one of our private accounts on the Fediverse it got nearly 2,000 boosts and 55 quotes with quite touching comments. From all over the world!

@HI_Greens @IndyRichard @harry_wood Yes I've commented, emailed and pleaded for a couple of years for GP of England and Wales to take the Fediverse seriously and move with the times, not least ethically. They'd be loved on here and I don't see why they've not acted year on year. Even so - the Fediverse is doing the work for them, eh?!
