Yes. 100%. And people don't realize that when they make hyperbolic claims like that, that are demonstrably false or exaggerated, all it does is undermine their credibility, not Rowling's.
JKR is a bitch, a cunt, and a very bad person. But she's never been accused of sex trafficking or pedophilia by anyone. There've been at least rumors swirling about for most of the people mentioned in the Epstein files. -

@nele1999 The emails are signed Jx capital J small x. This is something she has used for years on Twitter.
Either she was "close personal friends" with Epstein.
OR
Someone sent these emails from her email address to people in her organisation and signed them as her in an attempt to frame her when years later the emails end up in FBI files as part of the Epstein investigations.

Which I'm fine with people doing - I too would love to see her crash and burn. But as you say, if it's basically a nothing burger she will use that and she will raise more funds to cause more harm. So I'm waiting. -

@selzero @xinit @Noortjevee This is my point, the 'source' isn't enough. It's heavily redacted and people are making all kinds of guesses. That's not what I want, I want journalism. I am not a journalist. Most people aren't. Looking at sources isn't journalism. I want careful follow-up and corroboration. We can't leave her easy escape routes like 'do your own research' always creates, sorry.
