Americans are so thoroughly brainwashed. I am happy to see it breaking more lately, but there are still far too many drinking the red white and blue cool aid.
@anolandria I've known for years that the US population has had the most propaganda from their gov't than pretty much anywhere except maybe North Korea....maybe.

Not to mention I care so much less about Chinese state collecting data about me, than I do care about the US government and huge mega corps doing so.
So what if China knows stuff about me?

@anolandria im not baffled. Some of us here in the USofA donβt believe in any of this red white n blue hype bullshit over here, and pretty much ridicule it altogether. I didnβt choose to be born in this trashy excuse of a country. I wouldβve picked Costa Rica if I had a choice.
Lots of folks here drink the social media koolaid but donβt think itβs all of us.

Inevitably, SOME Americans are baffled by it. I know Americans who are baffled by shoelaces, or traffic circles, or how tomatoes are a fruit. If we just drop the bar on everything to the lowest common denominator of Americans we'll wind up with... exactly what we've got, come to think of it.
