    All their lives together they've done this - they share one bowl together then movie to the next. The only reason I put out two bowls instead of one big one is my human cultural conceit. I still attribute selfishness to them that is really a projection of human selfishness and avoidance of sharing. Human children have to be told to share, but my cats only know sharing as their default behavior. #cats #catsofmastodon

    Two of mine that are now gone used to have two bowls, one would wait patiently while the other ate his fill and walked away, then ate both bowls. I also think one big one would have sufficed, but also could never actually do it.
