"Maggie Tyers" has never heard of chronological order. Nor has she, presumably a Reform supporter, ever heard that govt's job is to favor or disfavor no religion over another.

@huntingdon @stopthatgirl7 In the UK it isn't exactly the government's job to favour or disfavour no religion over another -- there's an established church here.
(Digression: I've heard it suggested, I don't know how plausibly, that this difference between the UK and the US is part of why there's more Christian extremism in the US than in the UK: an established church will necessarily tend to be rather middle-of-the-road but will get a lot of members anyway, a moderating effect absent in a country with lots of Christians but no established church.)
