Same with my father. He'll be 90 in a couple months and every time he lost a friend, he'd walk out of the funeral and say "hey! Better him than me!"...

They had the KoolAid IV apparently when they had their health crisis -
@VeroniqueB99 THIS is the key insight of our time. NOTHING can reach people who think like this, as tough as it is to concede, as much as we think, “oh if I show them THIS, then SURELY they’ll change their mind.” No…their own mindset is their self-made prison and self-chosen punishment.
