I do not believe that one should focus on either group or any group. How about supporting humans being humans and implementing free healthcare?

And by humans being humans I mean to let everyone be who they want to be. I do not see any point in trying to control someone else’s body, choices or life. And U believe that the general consensus should be that everyone has the same rights no matter the gender, ethnicity or age.

@benroyce @DrCampbell @theleftistlawyer Newsom has some opinions that I don't agree with but there aren't many credible candidates that are running much further to his left. For all that talk about Mamdani being some radical agent of change, where is it?

@theleftistlawyer just like Cuomo, force him run as the independent and split the right vote. This where unlike Sanders, AOC likes have to have the guts to take on DNC to say, pick me or I will run as an independent and split the left vote to guarantee a MAGA victory and let DNC show their true colours of being MAGA lite.

@FelisCatusDomesticus ideally politicians would just shut the fuck up about us

we want to be left alone

the problem is the media and politicians who keep talking about us and demonising us

i voted for bernie in the primaries, then hillary in the general. because i'm not stupid

likewise i'll vote against newsom in the primaries, but reluctantly for him in the general if he unfortunately wins the primaries. again, because i'm not stupid

but a lot of people are stupid. they get very emotional and don't understand tactical voting. so we get maga winning

we need an exciting candidate from the left

besides: centrists are spineless and weak

@benroyce @DrCampbell @theleftistlawyer I always vote for the furthest left person in every primary except for president and then support the winner in the general. However I disagree that the centrists are weak, quite the contrary, the leftists often fail to even field a candidate. Obamacare saved my aunt's life, luckily she didn't have to wait on Bernie to deliver anything.

@benroyce @DrCampbell @theleftistlawyer It depends on your definition of centrists. If you're referencing Fetterman or Lieberman then I'm in agreement, if you're referencing Schumer or Jeffries, then I hard disagree. Pelosi is the fing GOAT IMHO, got more done for this country than any other person in Congress in my lifetime. Other people promised more, but she actually delivered.

@FelisCatusDomesticus @theleftistlawyer quoting the slur that Gavin Newsom uses in his head is very different from actively using it yourself.

LGBTQA+ people often vote in support of each other and make up a significant portion of the electorate. ~9-10%

people need to show up in the primaries and make sure #Newsom does not make it to the general #election in 2028

and we can start building on that now by showing up in the #primaries in 2026 and get 50 mamdanis in in the general in november

the way you defeat this bullshit is you *show the fuck up*

if you hear Newsom say #transmisic shit and go "i'm not voting," then you wind up helping #MAGA win and that will be even worse for #trans people

                                    #vote

No he is not. Anyone who is more progressive and also willing to fight would crush Trump in the general election. You win elections by getting your base excited, not by trying to win over the centre.

Getting someone who is only a little to the left of Trump is a losing strategy.
