Thursday and Friday of this week (19-20th February 2026) another historic 24hr #generalStrike happened in #Argentina; and of course #USA media downplayed the fact more than 400 commercial airline flights had to be cancelled because “dozens” or workers protested on the streets and "a few thousands" stayed at home to protest Milei’s evisceration of labor protections.

a 24-hour #generalStrike are only good for the organizing experience; of finding out who are your allies. rarely do 24 hour strikes effect change.

we need sustained striking, slowing down, wildcatting and protesting to effect change.
