@theleftistlawyer I've heard other people express similar things, and tried to disabuse people of this.
Some people are just hateful, and these people will never vote for Democrats, so D's should just not give a crap what they think.
There's more people out there who feel neglected and are susceptible to the "D's don't care about regular folks like you" line. Some of them are recoverable but not by throwing LGBTQ-folks under the bus, just actually do things that make working people's lives better.
(The fact that so many people perpetually fall for "blame X minority for your problems" sucks but the crappy nature of the human race is just something we have to deal with).
Or we can use effective methods, like the race-class-gender (RCGN) narrative framework, to tell very different stories that build solidarity across differences and put the blame where it belongs, on Broligarchs and the #EpsteinClass.
RCGN works, we just need more people to learn about it and use it.

1.) The majority of voters support trans rights, because you don't have to be trans to support trans rights. So throwing trans people under the bus is a losing strategy.

No he is not. Anyone who is more progressive and also willing to fight would crush Trump in the general election. You win elections by getting your base excited, not by trying to win over the centre.
Getting someone who is only a little to the left of Trump is a losing strategy.

And by humans being humans I mean to let everyone be who they want to be. I do not see any point in trying to control someone elseโs body, choices or life. And U believe that the general consensus should be that everyone has the same rights no matter the gender, ethnicity or age. -

This where unlike Sanders, AOC likes have to have the guts to take on DNC to say, pick me or I will run as an independent and split the left vote to guarantee a MAGA victory and let DNC show their true colours of being MAGA lite.

However I disagree that the centrists are weak, quite the contrary, the leftists often fail to even field a candidate. Obamacare saved my aunt's life, luckily she didn't have to wait on Bernie to deliver anything.
