“I just hope […] this doesn’t scar him for the rest of his life”, says wife of an Irishman being detained by ICE and submitted to what he describes as "torture" in an ICE camp for five months and counting.

His crime? Having a work permit and paying taxes in Boston for twenty years.

This is what Trump calls focusing on "the worst of the worst".

but today's trump standards, ireland is not those s-hole countries, almost like norway.

maybe this just shows that, trump will go after anyone in the end.

@randahl He said: people are dying here all the time, they are being killed and his story disappeared from all major news outlets in Ireland. This should be news for the last 4 months.

@randahl Just imagine if all the Irish decendents American citizens (except JFK Jr of course) were to start a real protest; an early St Patrick's Day gift to the Orange one. #Mastodon #Fediverse

You read him and get an idea of who are the real criminals:

“I’m not in fear of the other inmates. I’m afraid of the staff. They’re capable of anything.”

@randahl What I cannot understand is why the Taoiseach is STILL heading to the Whitehouse on Patrick's Day to see that bloated orange discharge of a president. That's pretty much saying do what you like with us, there will be no consequences. Furthermore allowing them to operate an airbase at Shannon Airport is beyond belief at this point.

@randahl At this point in time, I don't expect the replubican fascist numbskulls that keep this nazi wannabe in power to wise up until it's too late.

@randahl Abandond from his own #irish government it seems. He could make a complaint at the international court of justice in The Hague
