        @skinnylatte

        Any thoughts on Dunlop's "Every Grain of Rice?" https://cookswithoutborders.com/new-story/2021/2/8/every-grain-of-rice

        It's the only Chinese cookbook I own, and while I've generally been impressed, I'm also new to the cuisine and would be interested in hearing your thoughts on it.

          @dicenbuttons yeah it’s good. I was reading her other book ‘Food of Sichuan’. I think she’s a good ambassador for this type of food (Sichuan regional food).

          For other regions I would read Clarissa Wei’s cookbook, as well as Woks of Life, The Wok and A Very Chinese Cookbook

          Woks of life is also a great site and the father son duo behind a Very Chinese Cookbook are on Americas Test Kitchen

          Also watch videos from Chinese cooking demystified, spices n pans and Made With Lau

            @skinnylatte

            Woks of Life is one of my go-to websites for Chinese recipes, didn't realize they had a cookbook too though!

            Appreciate the tips, cheers 🙂
