@obrhoff I also explore different platforms. If their advert is on social media, I check out their posts as well as looking at their website. I have found some truly great little businesses via social media. It's good to look back at their story too.

@obrhoff When the payment methods are front and center, but the address can only be found in the legal terms (if even), you know the site is most probably American…

@obrhoff I usually also look for the VAT number too, as I don't like to support grey area businesses
