Someone got taken by an ambulance in a stretcher during that last heavy wave of gas. People are saying it was a resident in a nearby apartment.

They just heavily gassed. Went thru my full face again. the medics were saying it was going through their masks too. There were very young children present. This is the road nearby ten minutes after the gassing started. The gas is still visible as I type this. Crowd regroup and energy is high. “Killing in the name of” now playing on loud speaker. More later nothing will upload not even pics
@alissaazar That's why I recommend getting the same filters as the Riotcops do.
- And a proper full-face mask as well as Nomex gloves to grab and throw away teargas canisters!

From that last wave of teargas. Videos are a little glitchy. Some photographers were complaining about issues with their cameras as well from the amount of gas.

@alissaazar hey, pro tip, those pull ring igniters can be unscrewed from the casings and then delivered to your friendly neighborhood armorer, who can easily rearm them using shotgun primers. Reliable mechanical ignition systems are gold on the battlefield.

@sbeebe yes and many have been and many got sent back. These are just the ones I was able to get ahold of that got left behind.

This was the view after I moved away for some reprise. You can see after the flash bang grenade goes off a bird flying. Was a heartbreaking reminder it's not just people impacted by this but animals and nature too.

Idk what’s going on today. I put in new filters this morning after they deployed HC last Saturday and gas was still seeping through my mask so I had to walk away. Both medics who helped me said it was getting in their masks as well.
@alissaazar most likely answer is a bad seal, and after hard use, that isn’t uncommon. We used to have to do “fit tests” in the hospital for our respirators, and I don’t “fit” any of them. The bitter crap they aerosolize into a hood over your head always snuck in one way or another. Almost every time I clean my duck coop with a 3M silicone respirator, there is still black dust along my nose when I’m done.

@mcnado I had brand new filters on but I think you’re right. Just tried it on again after decon and I think it’s just on the right side of my face no matter how much I tighten it or adjust it won’t seal properly there’s a little gap. Hopefully there’s a way to fix this really don’t want to have to buy a new mask
