    There is something wrong with Trump.

    At a meeting with oil industry CEO’s he suddenly interrupts his introductory remarks, gets up and looks out the window and starts talking about his ballroom. Trump then realizes his mistake and says “unusual time to look”, and sits back down to continue.

    How many oil companies will invest in a Venezuelan oil project initiated by a man who loses track of the situation he is in?

    @randahl I…what…why…

    Is there an English equivalent for the German word "fremdschämen"? Because that's what the audience must have experienced judging from their restrained laughter.

      @randahl Trump is probably only a puppet on strings - the people who are his advisers run the agenda, and they are most likely worse than Trump

          @cgudrian it is called second-hand embarrassment, which is the same as in Danish: Anderhåndsforlegenhed.

            @randahl to the question, all of them. They only want profit, it's their goal there.

                @harrybodifee @randahl But they should read the pre-war stories of Worldwar II. If Trump and his support/advisers/managers keep on going on that path they have chosen, it'll end in Worldwar III. Maybe, there won't be anything left of USA. Russia and China will have their pound of flesh.

                    @randahl You mean the ruins of the east wing? No ballroom to be seen, only the mess that’s a symbol for his governance.

                          I'm not sure if Trump lost track of the situation or if it is some kind of power play:

                          He can do what ever he wants and they are still dependent on him and have to play along.

                              @randahl @cgudrian Exactly.

                              In Dublin vernacular "scarlehforya" (the "t" is aspirated). It's a dated usage characteristic of old women but widely understood and amenable to jocular use by everyone.

                                  @randahl Ok from time to time I read arguments from left side of #USA and people stop. Just stop. He's not demented. He know what's he's doing. He is a perfect #capitalist who will fuck up any other nation so USA can grow and abuse other countries.

                                  Same with the #ICE guy shooting this woman. She almost run over him and because USA is such a fucked up country he #shoot her in the face. Just like any other policeman would do. So the problem is not only with ICE but with gun control in USA.

                                    @randahl #USA is a perfect machine running on abused majority of workers who can't afford shit. All their life is based on generating #profit for corporations that will send them to war so minority of rich people can get even more money.

                                    #Trump is perfect #president for such country. I know it's scary but it is true. He will do whatever he wants and he is not demented. His values are different than yours. He thinks in terms of money and USA as a country. Nothing else matters.

                                        @randahl Pay close attention to Vance’s reaction. It says, “Oh no, there he goes again, and everyone will see”. They are increasingly having problems keeping Trump’s mental decline hidden. And it feels as if they are starting to see that this is a problem for themselves too. They ride Trump’s coattails, and if he’s gone, they’re gone too.

                                          @randahl seems the major oil companies, who have been burnt in Venezuelan nationalizations twice ain't prepared to spend their money there, as they will most likely loose everything they invested there in 2028...
