@joyousjoyness A close friend of mine is a writer and artist who spent the last few years getting certified in trauma therapy and doing men’s work (leading groups of disaffected men to be better people). He’s started writing a book of stories for adult men that are engaging and beautiful and draw in the reader in such a way that they flip concepts of masculinity from toxicity towards humility and nurturing. It feels like this could break the fascist spell for some guys, making the world better.

@joyousjoyness My physiotherapist motivated me to listen to my body that was saying "hey, today I don't want to work, I need a break." Returning home, I bought ready-prepared food from the traiteur. No cooking needed. And a lazy week-end for my talking body.
Feels good. -

I picked up physical journaling again, focusing on setting up my 4 fancier journals:
- Book of Awesome (gratitude journaling and positive anything)
- Book of Art Aha's (insights and lessons learned with my art self education)
- Book of Memory and Media (highlights of my life and tracking what media I consume)
- Book of Insights and Learning (catch all for wisdom and insights)Worked on establishing protocol and indexing! Excited to use them!

@emilyvanartist For now he’s only circulated the first few stories to a small group of people. I’ll save your post here and respond with more information when it’s published.

@joyousjoyness Journaling has been on my mind lately. I admire your plans to do separate journal themes. I struggle to maintain one! “Know thyself.” I will stick to one, LOL. So best wishes on what sounds like an awesome plan for you. You can do it!
It helps to declare intentions so you’ll be more successful. -
