@jpmens @bagder A lot of people these days get their news from various social medias, including Youtube. What Ed (Low Level) does on YouTube is mostly "technology watch" related to security: finding new exploits reports or relevant write ups for news stories, such as when a big service provider goes down, then produce a video explaining what happened. That saves people the effort of finding all those relevant sources, and if they want to, they still can read the original articles as they are linked in the description of each video.

@bagder I was wondering the other day if bug bounties might be shielded from AI slop by requiring each bug submission to post some amount of money in escrow (determined by the project)?
If the bug turned out to be AI slop, the project could keep the money. Those projects that are getting particularly high rates of slop could set their submission escrow rate particularly high in order to stem the madness.
I was just thinking about how real estate handles issues through earnest money.
