+1. In the empirical sciences, nothing is proven. A hypothesis can only be falsified. If it fails to falsify, it becomes a theory. But a theory is never proven. And the link between autism and vaccines is falsified ie, not relevant for science. -

Actually I don't think disproven is the scientifically correct word either.
The formally correct statement is... "There is no evidence for a link"
